How we work

PAGE OUTLINE
- The 5-step delivery model — T1 Specify · T2 Testboard · T3 Mechanical fixture · T4 Test software · T5 Deploy. (Manager-grade lead; engineer detail below.)
- Pricing model — fixed price per step; a built-in maintenance/support provision after deployment (pre-paid envelope, time-tracked, junior vs senior rate, timesheet on request, unused portion refundable). No numbers on the site.
- Intellectual property — full transfer to the client of all schematics, layouts, manufacturing files, source code and documentation produced for the project; single exception = the generic "core" test platform, proprietary to Dawans Engineering, provided royalty-free for the project.
- What the client provides — sample boards for bring-up; schematic + Gerbers; the production firmware binary; (for functional tests) a firmware diagnostic mode or test firmware; the SN format; ERP/QR specs if integrating; the expected annual volume.
- For assemblers / EMS — we can work as your subcontractor and deliver the testbench under your name to your customer; used to white-label delivery and to interfacing with a CM’s production environment. [anchor: #assemblers]
- Where & how — most work done remotely from our offices in Belgium (Genappe / Ways); on-site only for deployment; remote support thereafter.
